MULTI TRADE OPERATIVE - BUSINESS & TECHNICAL SERVICES

Salary: From £23,866 to £28,221 per annum

Grade: Grade 5

Hours: 37 hours per week

Closing Date: 25th February 2019

The Technical Services Building maintenance team is responsible for providing professional advice and project delivery in relation to the alteration, refurbishment and maintenance of the two Council’s diverse property portfolio. This comprises operational and non-operational premises including commercial and civic buildings, theatres, a crematorium, multi-storey car parks, and leisure sites.

This small, hardworking and dynamic professional team requires a Multi Trade Operative conversant in Carpentry, Brickwork, Plumbing, Glazing & UPVC fixtures and fittings, and general building maintenance to provide rapid response and planned maintenance service.

You will be provided with a works vehicle and stock, day to day work and priorities will be managed through the maintenance staff as these priorities frequency change depending on urgency and health & safety.
