Vacancy Description

Are you looking for an exciting role that will use your administration expertise and people skills?  Come and join a team that is driving forward a dynamic and efficient repairs and maintenance service for Housing services within Adur and Worthing Councils.

As Scheduling Assistant you will have a vital role in ensuring that repairs and maintenance services to our tenants and leaseholders are carried out efficiently and cost effectively, meeting the council’s service standards.

Reporting to the Resources and Performance Team Leader, you will work in partnership with the Adur Homes team to provide a joined-up service to tenants and leaseholders.

You will have knowledge of building repairs and maintenance and will be experienced in working within a customer focussed service. This role involves using computers to book and oversee an appointment system and you should have the necessary IT skills to work in this environment.

You must be able to communicate well with a variety of people, including customers, elected members and contractors and to plan work according to targets and schedules.
