Safety & Resilience Officer

Salary: From £23,398 To 27,668 per annum

Hours: Full time, 37 hours a week, Permanent 

Closing Date: 14th February 2018 extended until 2nd March 2018

Interview Date: 9th March 2018

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Safety & Resilience Officer to join us in this newly created role  to deliver health and safety, emergency planning  and business continuity advice.

You will be qualified in NEBOSH Certificate and be an experienced practitioner providing health and safety advice in a relevant setting. The role also requires you to help keep the emergency plans up to date and developing a comprehensive business continuity plans for the councils key services. This will include assisting managers to undertake business impact analysis of key services and developing robust business continuity plans.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with senior managers, employees and key stakeholders to advise them on a range of occupational health & safety issues and help us be prepared for all eventualities. You will be exposed to risk assessments, audits, accident investigation, help write plans and compiling reports of your findings.
