Tenant and Leaseholder Engagement Officer

Salary : £20,661 - £22,658 per annum

Grade:  4

Hours: 37

Located in Worthing, serving Adur District Council area 

Closing date: 29th January 2018 at 23.55pm

Working with our tenants and leaseholders is at the heart of our approach and is what we do. We are looking for a talented individual who is passionate about working with people to give them a voice and can work alongside tenants to co-design and empower them to have an active role in improving service standards and outcomes for all.

The post holder will work as part of a busy, friendly and supportive team, taking an active role, ensuring that involvement and participation is at the centre of service delivery.

The post holder will work with all tenants to ensure the widest possible engagement across the Adur Homes portfolio, in order to create and deliver our shared vision for the future. This will need to take into account the many changes that have taken place in the social housing landscape in recent years and the need to build future sustainability. This post holder will also be key in delivering the service standards and outcomes of our shared work.

We are looking for a great communicator, who is able to use a range of mediums and communicate with a wide array of different people. You will have an understanding of the principles of engagement and experience of working within an engagement or involvement role/ field.

A good standard of education is required and having experience of working within a housing setting is desirable. The post holder will be required to work some evenings and weekend.
