Vacancy Description

Worthing Theatres & Culture Venues have the opportunity for dynamic and motivated individuals to join our Theatre Team as Casual Theatre Technicians.

As a Casual Technician you will assist in the presentation of professional touring theatre, music, A/V conference and amateur productions across our four main venues. You will need a good level of knowledge and experience within the events/entertainments industry including Get-in’s, Fit-up’s, Focusing and Get-out’s. A good level of professional Audio, Lighting, Rigging and Health & Safety procedures would also be advantageous. Ability to work at height is essential, IPAF licence /harness certification desirable.

Excellent communication skills are essential as is a high level of organisation and the ability to work under pressure.

The post holder will be required to work ‘ad hoc’ hours aiding lifestyle flexibly with a mutual agreement to meet the needs of the department, requiring evening, weekends and working on Bank Holidays.
